| A Message from the Club President |

I am taking on the Presidency of the Brandywine Hundred Rotary at an exciting and challenging time. I know that with the help and commitment of each and every one of our members, I am positive that we will have a wonderful and productive 2008-2009. We will build on the strong foundation that has been in place since our club was chartered in 1991, and more recently very capably upheld by our past presidents. I know I have big shoes to fill!
Fellowship and service to others are the recurrent reasons this club’s members bring up whenever reasons for being active in Rotary is discussed. We may be small in number, but are a fun morning group that definitely gets things done thru the projects we undertake. The theme of RI for the year is
“Make Dreams Real” and our many and varied activities will keep this theme as a focus for our local community, district-wide, and internationally. Keeping our “Service Above Self” emphasis in mind, it shouldn’t be hard.
I look forward to seeing many familiar – and some new – faces around the breakfast table at Harry’s in the upcoming months.
